I can’t access procreate
I use GarageBand often, and sometimes out of nowhere my songs, even the ones uploaded to iCloud, vanish, and I can’t access them. To solve this problem, I usually power off and restart my iPad by holding down the power and volume buttons, and then all my songs are there again. This time after I restarted my iPad, I wasn’t able to open Procreate, which I also use very often. It tells me that I need to purchase it again from the App Store when I click on the app. At first I thought it was some sort of glitch or something to do with my iPad storage, so i tried offloading it (deleting the app but keeping the data). I then couldn’t reload it after tapping the app icon, and it just gave me the same message again. I fear if I repurchase procreate, I’ll lose all my data and have to start over. I never bothered to store my drawings in iCloud or anything because I did not know this could happen. Will I lose all my data if I repurchase it or will it all still be there? I also don’t know if this has something to do with family sharing, because before i got my own iPad, i used my family iPad for procreate. When I got my own, I don’t think i had to pay for the app again, as my iPad is also linked to family sharing, so it just downloaded. Also, I looked in my purchase history on my Apple ID account in settings and on the App Store and didn’t see anything for procreate. I also have never used a second Apple ID on my iPad. I reached out to the people at Procreate to see if they could help me, and they suggested that I remove my Apple ID from the family sharing account. I’m scared to do this too because I don’t know if I’ll lose anything else like subscriptions or music or anything else I'm unaware of. Is this just a problem with the App Store or something? And what can I do to fix this problem? This also happened to a couple of my other apps.
Thanks, Ryan
