Why is "systemuiserver" capturing my screen?

This comes up periodically and I don't know how to turn it off? Is this something I need?

When that comes on... The screen has this weird 50% transparent black frame at the top and bottom of the screen making it impossible to do the work I need to do.

Is there a way to turn it off?

Sorry I don't know for sure ... am no expert in this area, yet your post deserves some response!

Wondering if something you do periodically triggers the screen-capture.
