MacOS 15, No Cantonese speak?

I'm in same situation. I highlighted some text (Traditional Chinese characters), press Option-ESC, it speaks in Mandarin if detect language is turned on. If 'detect language' is turned off, there is no spoken voice. I'm a native Cantonese speaker.
