My iPad Air's screen turns on but not show anything

4 weeks ago my cat knocked a small glass of water from off a table onto the floor and it happened to spill on my tablet. It was still working perfectly fine after that until 2 days after the incident. Whenever I’d turn my tablet on, the screen would start up for a second and then shut to a slightly glowing black screen. What’s weird is that I can still see a very faint blurry outline of my apps and wallpaper. I think it may be water damage, but I want to know how much it would be to get it fixed, or whether or not I need to get it replaced entirely.
