Independent Keyboard Layout for iPhone Mirroring on Mac?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to set the keyboard layout independently when mirroring my iPhone on my Mac? I use a US English keyboard on the Mac, but the iPhone is set to DE-CH for easy access to umlauts.

When I type a message on my mirrored iPhone through the Mac, it uses the DE-CH layout even though I'm typing on a US keyboard. This mismatch causes some typing issues.

Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
