Go to System Settings and turn off the new "Rotate Wi-Fi address" feature, as described here: https://community.jamf.com/t5/jamf-pro/feature-request-disable-rotating-wifi-address-option-in-network/td-p/323510

@etresoft: Thanks for the hint: I didn't find a similar setting for ethernet, only one that disables private relay, that had no influence on the problem.

Anyway, your other suggestion solved!!

I disabled the MacOS firewall and now I worked for a whole day without any problem both on Mini and on the Macbook with wifi!

I didn't check this before, as the firewall was set to allow connections from certified softwares: maybe Microsoft doesn't use standard frameworks, so that the "allow certified" doesn't work.

Thanks!

I may have resolved the issue (for myself) by temporarily disabling a third-party firewall.

I recommend making that permanent. A firewall is a useful tool for network administrators running servers that provide services across multiple networks. It really has no place on a client and/or consumer device. I understand that so many people on the internet promote firewalls as some kind of security feature. It's not in this case. Don't believe what you read on the internet.

The most secure configuration is to not have any services running. Then you don't need a firewall. Any kind of consumer-grade firewall that can only either turn a service on or off is a paradox. What's the point of running the service if you are then blocking it in the firewall? It won't work anyway. That's why everyone's consumer-grade firewalls always have everything enabled. Anything that isn't enabled isn't working or is something that they just don't understand.

Unfortunately, changing the rotating/fixed/none private address doesn’t solve the problem. I’m using the last version of the now so called Windows app. I also tried by disabling wifi on a Mac Mini, using only ethernet connection, but the problem is always there. I used the Windows app on an iPad Pro and after a whole afternoon of work I had no problem (the iPad on the wifi with private fixed address). So I think the problem lies in the coupling MacOS-Windows app.

Ethernet has a similar setting that modifies the MAC address. Try disabling that.
