Apple TV not working

HDMI cable changed several times. Initially apple tv worked, but after checking supported quality, it stopped working. On TV it shows cable not connected. I rebooted Apple TV apple on TV showed after loading it showed the same error. Although the device is turned on and the white light is on. What to do?
