How can I remove pinned timers in watchOS 11?

Update my Watch7 yesterday to WatchOS11. Now when I go to use a prior timer duration, or add a new one, there are several 'pinned' timer settings cluttering up my screen. I don't want those, I prefer setting my own timers TYVM. How can I delete these? I click on them they turn from yellow (pinned) to white (unpinned) but clicking again simply turns them back to yellow.

Despite having had several iOS updates since I posted my original query, my answer is that "you can't."

Apple's decided that Think Different means Our Way, Not Yours. So we now have a group of timer pre-sets that are permanently pinned to our Timer app's field.

We can add our own to the bottom of the permanent list, and any that we add can be deleted at will.

The original set will remain.

I wonder if the "pinning of timers" is another one of those features that nobody asked for but they had to come up with more bells and whistles. Maybe not. I wonder if this feature wasn't vetted properly or there is hidden four-step method to getting rid of them . . . or perhaps they will go away with 11.1 This is the kind of stuff that makes me question why I stay with Apple! OH Wait! Gotta go, I think there is a new iPad mini out there!

Favourite timers remained set at the top of the timer list. If you use timers extensively then this was ideal to select a timer without having to trawl through a long list. This was then removed and made using timers a PITA in the extreme. This reinstates what was there before and is not new bells and whistles. You pin your favourites to the top of the list. The problem now is getting rid of timers that are unpinned.

Really appreciate the last post from HowDoIDoThisAgain, but your last sentence says it all, which is the question originally asked on 19 September, "how to get rid of unpinned timers". This brings us back to what I said on 21 September, all of us restating the same problem, but nobody has a solution and, apparently Apple does not monitor this Community, so nothing will get done?? I am sure there is a method of communicating this problem directly to Apple so perhaps I will investigate that avenue . . . or not. But like HDIDTA above, I had a system of recurring timers and one time use timers, but then came the "upgrade" and now we all have unpinned timers for eternity. Kinda proves the old (well, relatively old)adage: "An upgrade, by definition, is simply the removal of old bugs and installation of new ones!" 🥴

If it was a 'bug' before, it's become a massive 'critter', vastly more of an annoyance than whatever 'bug' you might be referring to HDIDTA!

It's really, really annoying that I can create custom timers but they show up underneath all the pre-programmed and un-deletable stock elements.

AND that I can pin or un-pin my own but NOT the ones at the top of the list.

I'd settle for having my custom timers in first place! I could then happily ignore the 'permanently pinned' others.
