I purchased an iPhone 14 and am transferring from an iPhone SE 2nd generation. I have already updated the new iPhone and set it back to factory "clean" then proceeded to the chacha of the passcode and keeping them close to each other. Old iPhone has "Finish on New iPhone," new(er) iPhone has"User Name Signing In..." and then... NOTHING. What am I missing?

This happened to me. Transferring from a iPhone 12 to a brand new 14…..at the stagewhen ios18 was being installed. It got stuck for hours. I reset it twice and started again with the same outcome. Then I restarted and transferred via iCloud rather than my old phone and hey presto!
