iPhone bought in the US

Considering eSIM capable network providers are available in India, Will an iPhone 15/16 bought in the US work in India?

iPhone 11, iOS 18

In theory, yes. In practice, you would want to ask the carrier that you want to use in India if their service would be compatible.

Please keep in mind that a phone purchased in the U.S. will likely not have warranty coverage in India, so if service is required, you would need to ship the phone back to the U.S., or pay for repairs yourself......assuming that the service shop in India would have access access to parts for the phone.

Our advice would be to purchase a phone in the country in which it will be used most of the time.
