Microphone not working on Iphone 12 pro max

My microphone after upgrading to iOS 18 isn’t working properly it does work during calls but it is not working during Voice Memos or WhatsApp voice notes or even Snapchat or Instagram voice notes Although Siri is responding to my voice and I can search through my voice on YouTube, but I cannot record it in my voice notes. The voice memo in notes app is also working fine in the Notes app. What should i do ? Is anyone having the same issue? Is it a glitch? Or I should be worried because my microphone has stopped working. Any Apple professional please guide me through this.

Does your iPhone 12 Max still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging

81% is not healthy and is almost certainly the reason for the microphone issue. Apple recommends having the battery replaced at around 80% – so have the weak, aging battery replaced and all will (probably) be well:

Only an Apple authorised technician could tell you for sure what the issue is. And anything is possible with iOS updates. If it were me, I wouldn't wait to replace that obviously weak, aging battery.
