There were reports about memory leaks and excessive CPU consumption associated with Finder.

Also, as DEI has been continuously more in focus (which of course is good and very laudable), who knows where the actual software development has been outsourced to? (Remember when Boeing management went to Chicago?) But this is just speculation, of course. Sequioa is very good. You can, for example, now mirror your iPhone. And wait for Apple Intelligence, which may one day even send your data to a private cloud to summarise it, because this is better and the AI models are just too small to fit into your local machine's memory. Interesting times.
