iPhone 14 Pro Max keyboard lag when typing since update

Has anyone else been experiencing an extreme lag with the keyboard since ios 18 update this week? mine has been super slow and its extremely annoying! Is there anything I can do? I have tried resetting the phone a few times and that has not helped! And for some reason it seems to happen mostly when I am typing in notes, and I use notes a lot, every day.

Not sure which method you used to reset your iPhone, however, Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
