Air Tag or Find My is not working since September 19th, 2024 in Richmond BC

I've put a air tag to my cat, it was working fine until yesterday.

The "Find My" always shows the location as my place's location and the time is always "Now".

This morning, I made a test take the Air Tag with me to my work place, and my family member which at home see the locaton is still at our place, the time still "Now"

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 18

Try unpairing the AirTag, taking the battery out of it, reinserting (or if the battery has reported as being low, replace it), and then re-pairing it. That may get it updating again. Note that the AirTag must be in Bluetooth range of an Apple device of some sort to be able to update its location.
