Just purchased AirPods Pro 2 and wanted to use them as an additional hearing aid. iPhone has been updated to iOS 18 but when I go to the AirPods menu, there is no option to have them give me a hearing test. Is this not available yet? If so, where can I find that option.
I have just updated my software to iOS 18.1 but still cannot access the hearing aid functionality on my AirPods pro 2. What could be the problem?

You can try changing your region on device and take the test. This would only be recommended if you really need it.

Your region in this instance is based on the location of your Apple ID. Do you think Apple haven't thought of that one?

Can you explain exactly how to change iTunes account to a country in which it is approved? Do you have to have a paid iTunes account? I don't use iTunes.
You are correct. I am in the US.
My issue was that the firmware was "old", and updating it (which is a PITA if you ask me), cured the issue, once I restarted my iPhone once that update was loaded
