Mac displays screen time usage WHEN IT IS TURNED OFF

Since downloading MacOS Sequoia my Mac seems to show constant use time, EVEN WHEN THE MAC IS SHUT DOWN. It shows Finder staying active after shutting down, and when turned on again (where the boot seems completely normal, with the usual apple logo, Lock Screen, etc.), it reports activity as is normal.

I am mildly concerned since my Mac (M1 Air model from 2020) should obviously not be running when turned off:

  • Is it a possible Spyware/Malware?
  • Or is it just a software bug fixable with future updates?

If you have any advice on checking for malware or suspicious activity please post it here.

Everything else seems to be running fine for now.

Thanks in advance.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.0
