If you’re asking if the iPhone 15 Pro was discontinued (no longer sold via Apple) then yes. This happens every year much like new cars….when the previous year model is no longer produced and existing inventory is sold until it’s gone. The phone continues to be supported.

I believe the main reason Apple keeps older-generation phones in the lineup would be to have price-point models. The current new lineup consists of

  • iPhone SE (3rd generation) – which Apple might be keeping around for people who like small phones
  • iPhone 14 and 14 Plus
  • iPhone 15 and 15 Plus
  • iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max – the current generation

The plain iPhone 14, 15, and 16 start at $599 USD, $699 USD, and $799 USD, respectively.

Someone who is looking to spend a lot on a Pro or Pro Max phone would probably be more likely to want one from the current generation, than from an older one.
