Magic Keyboard for IPad Air 13

I was reading threads about Magic Keyboard for IPad Pro 13 doesn’t allow vertical orientation. I received the 13 inch Air and looking to get a MK. Anyone know if it’s the same. The site often lacks such details. I’ve been looking at ESR & Coostart, do any of you have opinions about these alternatives? Thanks
