Transfer time for E sim from iPhone 15pro to 16pro

I have just started the transfer of my E-sim from iPhone 15 pro to iPhone 16 pro it says on screen that Mobile Plan Setup is complete. (your EE eSim is now active on this iPhone)

But I have been waiting over an hour and the screen hasn't altered. How long can it take to transfer and then get to data transfer?

I am now in limbo with 2 iPhones I can't use.

When in set up to transfer sim card ? When setting up a new phone, when should you transfer the sim card, before you begin or after set up has completed ? Going from iphone 14 to iphone 16 pro. Do you need to transfer sim at all ?

Unable to transfer eSIM from iPhone 13 Pro to iPhone 16 Trying to load my new iPhone 16 from an iPhone 13 Pro no problem with data but I’m getting a message that the Sim and my old phone does not support eSIM transfer. Already did updates no help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
