contact dont see me Video Facetiming them on my iPhone 16 Pro

I have my old iPhone 7 (without a SIM) from which if I Facetime video call my wife, she will see me calling her no problem.

I have just acquired an iPhone 16 Pro that now has my SIM card. If I MOBILE call her, Facetime AUDIO call her she can see me calling and therefore answer. If I Facetime AUDIO call her I am able to switch the call into a VIDEO Facetime call after the connection has been established.

The issue:

If I FaceTime VIDEO call her from my iPhone 16 Pro she doesn’t see any incoming call at all!?!?! I have tried repeatedly with the same result. She doesn’t get missed Facetime calls in her phone records either when I Facetime video call her from my 16 Pro.

What am I missing?
