Open the case and hold it close to the iPhone after making sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone. If that doesn’t work then something is wrong.
Only If the pairing does not work then shut the lid and wait 15 seconds then open it back up and hold in the button on the back for like 10 seconds and reset your AirPods. Hope this helps!
