Photos app stuck on optimizing library

Okay i’ve synced my photos twice because I deleted them on accident (oops) but it seems your phone has to meet the following criteria:

- Phone needs to be on the charger

- Phone NEEDS to be at 100%

- Needs to be connected to Wi-fi

- It needs to be night time (all the way up until 5am)

- You cannot touch the device for at least 20 minutes (roughly)

i am facing the same issue, using an iphone 14 pro

i have around 200k photos and 20k video

it has been more than a week since i left the phone connected to the power and in sleep mode at night but it is still stuck at 34%

I am having the same problem ever since iOS18 came out... stuck at 1%

even i have the same problem and mine is stuck at 44%. Not sure what to do and how to proceed further. I tried all of them but nothing worked

I’m having the same problem but mine had been stuck at 0% and the battery is continuously warm or hot at some point. This happened when I upgraded to ios18. Any other suggestions?

Same. Stuck at 64% since iPhone 16 launch day.

Even with meeting all these requirements, mine is still stuck at 21%.

My iPad Pro is stuck at 25%. It’s been 5 days now since I’ve tried getting it to complete, putting it on charge, connected to WiFi overnight etc etc. and it will not optimise.
