First time in a loooong time that I've regretted a system update on any of my devices.
After updating to 16.7.10 on my iPhone X, internet connection is extremely slow. Disconnecting wifi and reconnecting sometimes seems to help for a while? Anyone else having this issue?

Spent time with Apple tech support and we finally discovered that VPN was on and causing the problem. This VPN was associated with Bitdefender. I suspect the 16.7.10 update either "flipped the switch" for the VPN or the VPN app was somewhat incompatible with that update or something similar, I wasn't using the VPN though I know I had installed it as part of antivirus in case I ever needed the VPN.
Here's where you find the setting if you're having this problem.
Settings>General>VPN & Device Management
