AirPods 4 sound quality when active noice cancelation is turned off

Hi,

I have a quick question. If one turns off Active Noice Cancellation (ANC) on the new AirPods 4, do they sound as good as the regular AirPods 4 (the ones that do not support ANC)?

I’m asking this because typically headphones that support ANC sound really bad when ANC is turned off (like the sound is coming out of a tin).

I do not want to use ANC when I don't have to, e.g. while on video calls or when I'am in a quiet environment, but I still want to listen to music with decent quality.

If someone that has a pair of AirPods 4 with ANC please report their experience?
