iPhone 13 Health Blood o2 won’t show enable

I’m trying to set up blood oxygen on a new series 8 watch. My phone is a 13 Pro Max, I’ve had since it was new. When I go to the O2 app on the watch it says go to the iPhone to “enable”. In Health, I go to the Respiratory option and then to Blood Oxygen. It shows where all the data will go. It say Blood Oxygen on. but doesn’t show me to enable option.

when I go to App Store it shows the blood oxygen app but the download cloud w the arrow isn’t highlighted.

I got it to work. Someone else on a Reddit thread had the same problem. I followed her instructions and it was all set.

I shut down the watch. Shut down the iPhone. Disabled the pairing. Re- paired them from new - did not use stored info.

after the pairing was complete I went back to the o2 app on the watch and it worked. The heart rate too which also didn’t work.
