Extract / export object from Pages, convert to an image and add a web link (URL)

Asking a similar question as previous: Extract / export image from Pages - Apple Community, but with two twists. I have created an object in Pages with a link in the object. When I follow the instructions from the previous request, it deals with images in a Pages files, but I wondered if I could do this with a shape (object) I created in Pages. When you copy the object and open Preview (macOS Sequoia) you can't do a "New from clipboard" (it's grayed out). How could I make an image from this object and either maintain the link or add a lin after it's converted to an image file?

What's the goal? To make an image that when you click on it opens a web page.

Hello and thank you! However, I need the final object to become an image file, not a PDF. I need to insert the image (which would be only the object I created in Pages) into an Apple e-mail signature block. Imagine you create a rectangle in Pages and add text in it that is a URL. Then I want only this rectangle to become an image file (.png) for example.
