iPhone 16 Pro Raw Question

On this page it says that the iPhone 16 is going to support ProRaw which is something important to me :

Take Apple ProRAW photos with your iPhone camera - Apple Support

but on this page it says that the iPhone 16 is only going to support HEIF and JPEG while the 16 pro supports DNG

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but doesn't the regular 16 need to support DNG in order to take ProRaw photos?

Evidently iPhone does not have to support DNG to use ProRaw. Read this from Apple —> About Apple ProRAW - Apple Support

"ProRAW files are 10 to 12 times larger than HEIF or JPEG files...." meaning that proraw is definitely in a separate category than jpeg and heif and "ProRAW uses the industry standard digital negative (DNG) file format" so I'm not sure what you mean. If anything this makes my question feel more valid. If you're talking about the 48 megapixel heif images, that's just an option for heif which is not raw.
