How to Resolve iPhone 16 Pro WiFi Connection Problems?

My iPhone 16 Pro won’t even connect to home WiFi.

Super frustrating.

I’ve restarted the phone, reset network settings, restarted my router (Unifi Dream Machine Pro) and no luck.

What a joke.

Have an old iPhone 8, X and 13 pro running on WiFi without issues.

I had the same problem. After trying Network reset etc. I delete the VPN App, which seemed to be the problem. Now it works.

You may believe using a VPN provides a tangible benefit on iPhone, but the reality is iPhone doesn't need one. Perhaps you are required to use one by your employer or school, but if not, it's just not beneficial on iPhone and in most cases doesn't offer the protection you thought it does. If the VPN you use is free, you can count on them knowing your every move on your iPhone and they will sell your history to anyone willing to pay for it.

The new iPhones come with VPN installed. If you try to add yours also it messes it up and it won’t connect to WiFi. Either delete yours and just use the preinstalled one or delete the one that come with the phone and use yours. Delete a VPN by going to Settings, General, VPN and Device Management, VPN, click on the i in the circle, delete VPN. Then you can download your own and everything works.

I turn wifi off and between every internet access including twice to be able to access this reply screen and then to send the message. It’s really annoying but works. Why isn’t apple releasing some kind of statement about this and their plan for fixing it? I want my old phone back!

Probably because you're making an assumption everyone is having to do what you're doing. Most people have no issues with Wifi connections. I certainly don't. Apple doesn't often release statements about issues, and certainly not with issues most people aren't having, so waiting for a fix seems not very prudent.

Have you read through this thread, where many users have suggested things which likely would help you. For example, the most common reason for Wifi connectivity issues is have a VPN on ones iPhone. iPhone doesn't need one, so if you have one, delete it from your phone completely.
