Cannot connect iPhone 12 Mini to iTunes

Have not backed up iPhone to iCloud for a long time.

Have iPhone connected to computer through Bluetooth,

yet iTunes does not show iPhone. Please help

Backing Up to iCloud Via Bluetooth:

You Can't. iTunes is not for backing up an iPhone. Nor is a Bluetooth connection. You need to use a hardwire for iTunes. Here is how to do so on a Windows PC: Back up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in iTunes on PC - Apple Support

Just wanted to thank you. I finally got it to work by turning off the ant-viral VPN.

The iPhone is backing up fine now by using same wi-fi connection on devices.

Appreciate your help.

Thank you for your reply. Had no luck following your instructions and reading each link.

The iTunes screen used to show the iPhone icon. It does not show it now.

1) My PC and iPhone have the same wi-fi. I just noticed that the iPhone read "syncing."

2) Tried connecting a USB cable from my iPhone to computer to back up contents, yet

once again, the iTunes screen does not show an iPhone icon, thus I cannot backup.

3) I did download the most current version of iTunes for Windows 10.

I will keep trying, but nothing is working.
