Apple Watch 7 dim at night after update to Watch OS 11

I’ve updated my Apple Watch 7 to OS 11. It’s paired with my new iPhone 16 Pro. Ever since the update, my watch is extremely dim at night. the battery is at 82% so it’s not the battery. I’ve rebooted the watch, but there is no difference. There is either a bug in the software, or a setting has changed, but I don’t know what setting it would be. I looked at the brightness under settings and it is set to the highest. Using the Digital Crown I lowered it and took it back to the highest position. Any ideas?
