This feature worked after I upgraded to iOS 18...today (2 days later), it's gone. I've tried testing it on multiple recipients (iPhone and Android users) and myself. Additionally, I've restarted the phone to no success. The ability to schedule texts was one of the key features that kept me on Android for years...please fix this ASAP
I have an iPhone 16 Pro And I’m still having the problem even after turning off and on the focus button. Are they ever going to fix that or what. It was one of the features that I wanted. Now I feel like I got screwed.
Hey Lloeb, thanks for asking.
It can also be noted that you can only send later onto Apple Devices with iOS/iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11 or visionOS 2. The option may also be hidden, try swiping up on the menu or tapping “More”.
Hope this helps.
Yes it is just with other IOS users. I tried to send messages to Android user and it doesn’t show.
I’m trying to set up a delayed text to another iPhone user but I don’t see the option. Do you know how to enable?
I am OS 18, although my sister who I sent scheduled messenger text to doesn’t. I think it’s probably still buggy & working for some & not others.
Thank you, that’s exactly what I was trying to do.
Restarting my phone worked. It made it appear.
“Send later” is not appearing in my list on message app iOS 18
In messaging “send later” does not appear
how do I fix this?
also update yours “tips”
It only works iPhone to iPhone
No it doesn't. I have tried to no avail Apple got to fix this bug.
Both Apple devices have to be running the latest IOS for it to work. I can’t see it for a person that I know has an Iphone6s with the latest available iOS for “that” phone and it doesn’t show up.
This one didn’t work for me, unfortunately
I tried this, and I also tried engaging the focus, but neither of these have fixed my situation. Maybe I will reboot my phone and then maybe it will work. Please God.
