Is getting a camera lens protector for iPhone a good idea?

I need help & I'm clumsy, and sometimes I put my phone in my bag (school). I'm scared my camera lens might shatter. Should I get a camera lens protector or not?

Personally, I'm not a fan. The Sapphire crystal used for the lenses is pretty good in my experience. Plus, I think the addition of the stick-on 'protectors' is quite ugly. However, if you have damaged them before and are worried about doing it again, go for it. It may result in slightly worse quality in your photos, but if you don't have the stress of taking it out your pocket to get the photos, that's surely a benefit. a sleeve of some kind might be a good option. Something like a 'Rapha Essentials Case' is really good for that, and something I've used in the past.
