Epson Document Scan not working since Sonoma 14.6.1

Epson Document Scan worked fine on Epson DS-510 before update. Now failing. Scanner works with Epson Scan 2, but not Document Scan. Uninstall and reinstall did not help. Epson help line guided me through same process, no help.

Program loads, but no options to use it are available, all are greyed out. I need to use Force Quit to close the program.

Any ideas, or do I just use Scan 2 program? Document Scan is convenient for documents.
