New Stickers Disappear Immediately (iOS 18 Messages App)

The Apple Stickers within the emoji pallet on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, with iOS 18.3.2, sometimes appear for text messages, but it is random, and I cannot identify the reason for this inconsistent systemic performance. There is an annoying bug in this iteration of the iOS 18. It appears like the Apple Intelligence Playground app is not playing well with others.

More upset to find this is a known “bug” than to think I made some mistake!! I just invested in this new phone for all it offers - PLEASE don’t offer something before it is reliable!!! May have just cost me a huge bid - and DID cost me promising my daughter her patience would pay off & I was almost done working so we could play… Now I’m at square one - with this bid and her trust in me all on the line and I get to be the failure!! same thing happens to me, and i’m pretty sure i haven’t updated to ios18 yet. also i have an iphone 12 so idk

Sorry, but this is a completely unacceptable solution. I paid extra for the iPhone and iCloud so I wouldn't have to deal with broken upgrade paths. No. Apple needs to fix this. Period. End of story. Otherwise, they need to start sending partial refunds for selling a broken product.

Issue was finally fixed for me after downloading 18.3 a few minutes ago. At first when went to messages and chose to add sticker or said I didn’t have any, but when created a new one it saved and didn’t delete. Then when went to my photos and created another one, when it saved it showed all my old stickers back. When went back to messages and tried to add a sticker again, this time all my old stickers were there as well as new ones just created.

I had this issue for over a year and went through suggested fixes; factory reset, logging out of iCloud, etc. Nothing worked.

Confirming the newest iOS 18.2.1 has (finally) resolved this for me.

I updated my IOS to 18.2.1 and my stickers are working!

Unfortunately, that doesn’t work to me, also on iPhone 16. Maybe it’s because I already had thatversion installed already.

I FIXED IT for my iphone 16, I turned it off and did a little restart with the holding my power button and volume up botton together, until the apple appears then let go of the volume button and give it a few seconds then remove you’re finger off the power button. Then I updated my phone to IOS 18.2.1.

You must be one lucky ones then, because for many of us, they aren’t back even after 18.2.1 no matter what we do

Stickers are back since iOS 18.2 update.

In messages, I tap the “+” then “Stickers” and all my stickers, old and new appears.

I can't find stickers in this discussion forum.

Stickers may appear depending on the app used.

Same here. It worked fine on my iPhone 12. Upgraded to iPhone 16 pro and stickers disappear instantly when I try to make them. It’s “Apple

intelligence yo”.

I know and camera quality isn’t as good as my iPhone 13 Pro Max

18.2 did not fix the problem either ..
