Adobe Acrobat Reader not working with Sequoia update

Whenever I try to open Adobe Acrobat Reader on my M1 MacBook Air that was recently updated to the Sequoia MacOS. I have to go in to Finder or click on the Apple to end the program because it always shows "not repsonding!" Please assist. Thank you.
