macOS Sequoia Bug - Preview misinterprets color spaces
I'm experiencing what I believe is a bug in macOS Sequoia since it wasn't an issue in the previous version of macOS. Now, in macOS Sequoia, when you open image files with Preview it seems like Preview always assumes that every image is in the sRGB color space. Look at the screenshot below. This image was graded with a pale, vintage, not-contrasty look and exported as both sRGB and Rec. 709. The sRGB version gets interpreted correctly, but the Rec. 709 version gets displayed with too much contrast which is wrong. When I open both of these image files in other software, they both look identical (they both look like the sRGB version) because the color spaces gets read correctly and not assumed. So this is an issue with macOS Sequoia's Preview. Please fix this Apple.
