Since downloading & installing OS15 scanning no longer works wirelessly; Printing still works wirelessly so it's not a Wifi network issue.
Anyone else have this problem?

The latest supported printer and scanner drivers for the Brother MFC-7860DW are for macOS 10.15 Catalina. Sometimes, a Catalina driver can be used with a few later operating system versions, but that would be experimental.

Unless Image Capture or possibly Brother iPrint&Scan can be made to work, you could perhaps have a look at a third-party paid driver called VueScan (https://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/brother_mfc_7860dw.html).

Thanks for your reply, it was a help. Seems like Brother is no longer supporting this older model printer with scanner drivers.
Might there be a 3rd party providing drivers?
In the interim, I scan wirelessly on my wife's older model iMac that can't be further updated. That's further proof that it's not a local network (LAN) problem.
