Stickers not working on iPhone 16 Pro

Yes, erase all content and settings. It’s painful, I know. But now I have stickers and my favorite keyboard shortcuts are back!! Totally worth the time to fix the problem. Would have been nice if Apple had fixed the bug in the update, but since the tech I was texting with in support said that they have had no reports of this issue, I suppose I should be grateful to just have this working again and not expect so much.

Full reset fixed it for me.

Finally, got the create stickers to work! But it’s a lot of work, I had to reset the phone! Had to do it the whole day…. An apple fix would have been simpler… Remember to back up first! 

Update: Updated to 18.2 and it worked!!!!

I just updated my IOS to 18.2.1 and it fixed the sticker issue for me. Hopefully it does for everyone else!

Have you tried to update your phone to 18.3? That solved the problem for me :-)

UPDATE: Factory reset and downloaded my data through iCloud worked for me. I can finally use my stickers.

Yes! Of course I updated it the night I posted this, and then they worked the next day🙃

Not correct.

my back was from my iPhone 16 propranalol max.

That had lost all its stickers and I couldn’t add new ones.

Backed it up, erased, set up from back up, and all my old ones reappeared.

and the phone now allows me to add new ones.

It is a bug that many are experiencing, no known fix yet other than wiping and starting fresh.

Yes! Every time I try to add new stickers or even stickers at all, they won’t show up! They just disappear! Also, when I’m texting people and go to my frequently used emojis, there are some spaces that are completely blank. Like I have emojis in there, just some spots are a grey circle. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, many others had this problem, but most people said that iOS 18.2 fixed it. If your phone hasn’t been updated to iOS 18.2, you should try updating it to see if the issue is resolved.

Disregard this. I took my phone to the apple store and they reinstalled the software and that fixed the problem.

I fixed the stickers not working! I had to back up the phone, delete the phone and restore it. That fixed it and I got my library of stickers back that I created!

Back the phone up to iCloud. Then erase all content and settings.

set the phone back up.

or wait and see if 18.2 fixes the issue sometime next week.
