Why do I need to download e. I have to put all my photos on all my locally stored from iCloud to my physical iPhones?

iCloud is not archival storage, it is syncing storage. If you have iCloud set to sync photos then iCloud tries to make sure the same photos are present on all devices signed into your account at the same time. If you are concerned about space, look into photo storage optimization.

How many mb is considered a full resolution photo. I shoot all my photos with the native camera. A smaller version is uploaded to ex.TikTok, that version is considered as an achieve photo and will be stored locally on my phone? Videos take up a lot of mb on my phone. Do you also consider these as an archival? Even tho they take up extremely much storage space. Best regards/ Stefan
