I’m running Sequoia on a Mac mini M1 with an Apple Studio Display (the cheap one).
I was trying out the different color options in system setting’s display panel – like Apple Display (P3-600 nits) – and created a new setting.
Once I had applied that setting all the presets were gone, now I can only choose a color sync profile …
How can I revert to the original mode?

Can you restore from a TM backup before you made this change?
When you set a preset the brightness adj. is turned off. In the display preferences, select preset, calibrate and then pick "reset all" and see if that gets you back.
I’ve connected the display with a MacBook Pro that works fine with its own Studio Display and it shows the same symptoms. So I assume the wrong settings are saved within the display’s OS.
Additionally, I now can’t adjust brightness anymore …
I know that. But I can’t set a preset (they’re gone, see above), I can only choose from various RGB color profiles.
