Why Apple Maps is taking lots of storage on my iPhone?

why my maps it’s taking a lot from my storage i already cleaned & reset before but still.. back in may it’s 5GB but no 7GB. it is so weird please help me guys!

Apple Maps taking up excessive storage on iPhone My Apple maps has been taking up a lot of storage. It went from 2GB to 5GB and now it is 11GB. I do not have anything on maps as I do not use it. Why does the deleted Apple Maps app still occupy storage space on my iPhone? Hi, I have been experiencing some weird issue with APPLE MAPS APP. I already delete the app, but why this app still filling my storage: it already took 22gb in my storage. If you have downloaded maps for offline use, those can take significant chunks of space depending on the size of the map area.
