After updating my phone to iOS 18, my mail app doesn’t work properly. It doesn’t fetch the mail automatically and every time I try to send an email it shows the error that connection to the outgoing server is failed.

I have the same issue. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I had no issues after loading the iOS 17.7 update but after updating to iOS 18.0 last night, as of this morning I can no longer receive mail in the default mailer. I am able to send mail through the default mailer. Switching to Yahoo Mail in my phone I can receive mail, but the default mailer in my phone will not receive mail. It indicates it is connecting, but nothing is received. -- I am open to suggestions.
