iMessage and Google Voice interacting

I was recently overseas and while there, used a SIM card. While on vacation iMessage wasn't sending my messages so I texted a group of friends through Google Voice. When I got home and removed the SIM card and resumed sending texts through iMessage, things got all mixed up. I text my group through iMessage and their responses and reactions appear in Google Voice! I have no idea what is going on or how to fix this.

Out of nowhere, I can’t send or receive texts in group chats with non iPhone users. I can text them just fine individually though. I have an iPhone 12, and I’m in a group chat with two Samsung galaxy users. We chat in there constantly, but all the sudden I’m not receiving any of the messages for that group. When I try to text, it always just says “not delivered”. I can text these people individually with no issues. It’s the group chat that seems to be the problem. I’ve tried some troubleshooting, including: ensuring mms, sms are enabled turning it off and on again resetting network settings updating phone deleting the group chat and making a new one can anyone help me with this? My cellular provider is t mobile.

Group texts failing to send or receive suddenly cannot send or receive group texts without turning on cellular. but for single recipient texts, they go fine over wifi. why are group texts suddenly different?

Getting separate messaging responses on a group text Messages I see several people are having the same issue that I am. Ever time I send out a group message responses come back on separate responses. This applies to messages on my iPhone, my iPad, and my MacBook. It is not a carrier issues as I have t mobile , not Verizon. My messages also say text SMS. This just started recently. Every time there is an OS update it seems like something happens. Apple, please fix this issue. [Edited by Moderator]
