iPhone unresponsive after mirroring

Hello — I just installed macOS Sequoia on my MacBook Pro 14” M1. When I do iPhone Screen Mirroring from the Mac to my iPhone 15 Pro, it works fine, but if I disconnect it via the computer (close the mirroring application), my iPhone won’t unlock and just shows me the wallpaper or a black screen. If I disconnect from my iPhone by unlocking my iPhone, then it disconnects correctly and the iPhone functions normally. Anyone encountered this? Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply — glad to hear it's not just me and mine! I have subsequently also found that if I lock my iPhone "in hand," like holding down the volume up and power buttons, and then unlocking it, that also gets the phone working again. So this seems like an issue with the iPhone generating its unlock screen post-Mac connection (I use an unlock code rather than Face ID).
