Why is my Apple Music collection showing incorrect artwork?

Almost half my music collection now show up with the wrong artwork. It seems perhaps to mostly affect music which did not have artwork before. This makes me think that it might be the default image which has been changed.

Also it is only on my phone now. and when i airplay to the roku. It doesn't seem to be happening on my laptop anymore since I got a new laptop.

Is there something I can do to correct this issue?

Do not click on the plus sign or add any artwork. Now just type in a playlist title and click create. This instead leaves a generic, gray icon, with music note. Apple Music app weird UI issues and glitches. Apple Music app weird UI issues and glitches. Please see screenshots attached. Concerning local library files. This is while using 'search'. It does not happen when navigating to albums directly. Also: after using the music app for a couple of minutes, app behaviour gets weird. Scrolling doesn't work, opening an album doesn't work, .. Separate issue: syncing to iPhone 13 mini on iOS 26.1 does not go as expected: albums show correctly (ignoring above glitches) on the mac but on the iPhone it's as if 'album is a compilation of songs by different artists' gets undone, and all songs of a compilation become individual albums again. M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14" on Tahoe 26.1 Example 1: song numbering gets aligned to the middle of the song Example 2: normal behaviour at first Example 2b: going back to albums - songs disappear Example 3: Jackie Brown on the mac - one album Example 3b: Jackie Brown on the iPhone - three albums All ideas are welcome.
