This is a user-to-user forum. You didn't pay any money to us. Apple isn't involved in removing carrier locks, so you didn't pay any money to Apple, either.

That leaves two possibilities:

• You paid money to the phone company (carrier) to whom the phone is locked, in return for a promise that they would unlock it. If this is the case, your issue is with that carrier (phone company). Not with Apple or with us.
• You got scammed.

If you paid someone to remove a SIM lock, then it sounds like you got scammed. Apple is not able to remove a SIM Lock, that is done by the cell provider. Actually Apple is not involved at all.
