No App Store embedded in Apple TV on Samsung Smart TV
I have a Samsung Q95 TV with Apple TV embedded. However, the App doesn't have an App Store. Can this be solved? Do I need to buy an more up to date version of Apple TV and plug that into the TV?

You are confusing the Apple TV app with Apple TV hardware. 2 totally separate things. Apple TV app on your TV does not have an App Store, it is designed to watch Apple proprietary content. If you want to have the App Store you need to connect an Apple TV 4K to you Sony and then you will use the Apple TV to manage which apps you want (App Store) and use the Apple TV for not only TV but gaming and exercise if you want.
