Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16 Pro

I have the same issue on my Harley 2022 and in my 2012 truck it dosent matter what you are using they will eventually start skipping. I’ve tried

all of the fixes in this chat and the others with no fix. I’ve heard it may be fixed with the next iPhone release but we’ll see!

True or not, arguing with only other users on this user to user only forum, won't help you. When you asked Apple to fix it, you aren't communicating with anyone from Apple. Just other users like you.

I have absolutely no bluetooth issues on either of our iPhone 16 Pro and Pro max. I'm not saying you don't have an issue, but you need to figure out what is causing your issue. To expect Apple to fix this, isn't a very likely scenario, when the vast majority of the millions upon millions upon millions of users are having no issues at all.

I am having the same trouble but worse, I have one device, my blood glucose monitor, worked fine on my iPhone 13 but will not connect to my 16E. Also my car bluetooth connection is patchy and come and goes. This is really disappointing, these are the main things I use the phone for.

I have been on the phone with apple and Garmin and this apple 16 max plus is a disaster. Reset the phone multiple times, all the tricks. No ability to replace the thing unless I buy a new one. This issue is causing issues that could affect an individuals life (literally because of what I do) but no answers. Super frustrating with how much money apple has from me over the years.

Tried this. Didn't work. Still having the problem. Both my husband and I upgraded our phones to iPhone 16 PRO and we are both having this problem, particularly with our cars - 2 different phones, 2 different cars, same problem. Wish I could get my old phone back.

Man, nothing works for me when it comes to Bluetooth unless it’s an Apple product.

My Audeze headsets pair normally BUT audio quality worsens to a point that it sounds as if I’m listening to a radio station in a frequency I barely reach.

My Triumph motorcycle doesn’t pair with the device 9/10 times. When it does, connection is unstable.

Same applies to my Sena intercom.

My Garmin Zumo XT2 won’t pair at all.

I am very tempted to switch to Android. I suspect this is a hardware issue.

I’ve had the phone since Monday & it’s dropping the Bluetooth connect on the first day. We finally have nice weather, a chance to blast some good music, and it’s dropping. Of course they have to keep changing their usb ports so I have no cord to use to plug into my car. Apple intelligence says what?

Still not working even after the latest patch 18.4.1 which supposedly addressed some Bluetooth issues. My phone will not connect over Bluetooth in my car. Called Apple support and they were no help. Only told me to try the things I had already tried - reset, re-pair.

Things I’ve experienced and tried: Nothing worked.

iPhone 13 stutters in car, even with downloaded music (Apple music)

Removed/paired phone.

Paired to a second car, stuttered.

Stuttering AirPod pros and max

New iPhone 15, stutters just the same.

Most recent iOS.

if it’s not the hardware, it’s not the tech, it’s not the receiving system, it’s gotta be the software.

None of the recent iOS updates have solved my issue (iPhone 16 Pro won't automatically reconnect to my car's Bluetooth kit, tho' it does reconnect to other devices and other devices can automatically reconnect to my car). I intend to try another Network Settings reset at some point, to see if it makes a difference with the newer OS, but I've been putting it off because it requires repeeating setup for a lot of other devices without any reason to think there's a likelihood it'll make a difference.

For one thing, there's no reason yet to assume this is a hardware issue — but for another, it's just not true that hardware issues can never be addressed with a software update. Not every hardware issue has a software fix, but they commonly do.

How is this even still a problem? Bluetooth issues on my new iPhone Pro Max that can't be resolved by resetting. Just like many others have reported.

My phone is still under warranty, but my options are to send it in for repair (are they going to test that bluetooth works in a car? what do I use for a phone in the mean time?) or spend hours at an Apple Store (which is itself a 45m drive away) as others have done with no resolution.

I purchased a new Iphone 16E the week it came out and have had several issues with the Blue tooth and Wifi connections, I have posted on this forum about this before. My main issue has been the car interface and my blood glucose monitor. I found that the car issue has gone away after reloading the app and changing the cable four times until I found one that would work well. One thing I have noticed is that If the wifi signal is weak or patchy the bluetooth will not work. I know that sounds unrelated as they are two different systems but could it be something to do with the communications chip in the 16E?

What you say could be true for non-Apple devices, but for AirPods Pro 2 and Beats Fit Pro (which are Apple devices), there are no instructions needed. All you need to do is follow the on-screen tutorial to get connected. However, I still experience the same disconnects and garbled voice when having conversations on the phone.

There is no issue when listening to music or listening to anything else. The problem occurs when you're on the phone talking with someone. The received audio gets garbled for a few seconds, and then it keeps repeating every so often to the point that I take out my AirPods Pro 2 or Beats Fit Pro and use my wired EarPods instead. This is ridiculous for an iPhone 16 Pro Max!
