I downloaded a 3rd party software instrument. what do I do to access it? where is it stored? How can I use the sounds

- Make sure you have downloaded the Audio-Unit (AU) version of the plugin. Logic doesn't load plugins in VST-format. The Audio-Unit versions have the suffix ".component".
- Most of the plugins come with an installer which do the work for you.
- When installing manually you need to move the plugin into this folder: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
- Some plugins require a restart of your computer, you have to reboot Logic in any case.
