Sync Passwords App on Mac with Passwords App on iPhone without iCloud

Is it possible to sync the passwords in the Passwords App on the Mac (Sequoia)

with the Passwords App on the iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro / iOS18) WITHOUT using iCloud?

Sorry, no. I just did a test: the password created on my iPhone (iOS 18, iCloud Passwords turned off) was not synced to my Mac (macOS Sequoia) after doing a Finder synchronization.


This being said, Apple protects very well the iCloud Keychain:



I understand your concern. In the end, it's a personal decision to have your passwords synched through iCloud.
